Role Overview
 

We are seeking an experienced Fine Artist & Creative Team Leader who can conceptualise

wallpaper collections, lead a team of junior artists, and oversee the creative execution from

concept to print-ready artwork.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hand painting expertise and direct experience in

wallpaper, surface design, or print production.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Creative & Conceptual Leadership

• Conceptualise wallpaper collections, themes, and design stories

• Develop detailed hand-painted artwork and hero motifs

• Translate concepts into commercially viable wallpaper designs
 

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and train junior artists/designers

• Review artwork for quality, detailing, and brand alignment

• Guide the team on techniques, aesthetics, and creative processes
 

Execution & Production

• Oversee repeat patterns, scaling, and print suitability

• Work closely with production/printing teams to ensure output quality

• Ensure artwork is optimised for wallpaper printing formatsDigital & Process

• Strong working knowledge of Illustrator for repeats, layout, and refinements

• Manage timelines, collections, and creative workflow
 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in hand painting & fine art techniques

• Proven experience in wallpaper, surface design, or printing domain

• A strong portfolio of hand-painted motifs and commercial surface designs

• Ability to conceptualise collections and lead creative direction

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (must-have)

• Excellent eye for detailing, colour harmony, and scale
 

Preferred

• Experience working with luxury interiors, home décor, or textile brands

• Knowledge of print processes, colour separations, and surface materials
